Ser / Estar

The two ways to say 'to be'

SER for permanent traits and identity. ESTAR for temporary states and location.

BOTA

Boot verbs — stem changing

Stems change in every form except nosotros and vosotros. Tipo 1 is simple; Tipo 2 adds an irregular yo.

PABN

Possessives before the noun

mi, tu, su, nuestro/a agree with the thing possessed, not the owner. English 's becomes de + owner.

IDOP

gustar / encantar / faltar

Only conjugate in 3rd person, paired with me / te / le / nos / os / les. Subject agrees with the verb.
